Ralli Solicitors run an exclusive, MoD approved personal injury compensation scheme, dedicated to providing legal advice and assistance to current or former members of our armed forces who have been injured by a negligent third party.

The scheme also extends to friends, family members and dependants of service personnel and MoD employees.

The TOPAS Scheme can only be used to make a personal injury claim against a negligent third party, not the MoD.

How We Can Help You With Your Military Accident Compensation Claim

Ralli Solicitors have over 40 years’ experience of representing people who have suffered accidents in the UK as well as abroad and a reputation for success in military claims. Over the years we have built up an extensive network of knowledge and contacts in relation to MoD compensation claims, which means we can put together the best team to help you recover the compensation you deserve.

You may be able to make a military compensation claim under the TOPAS Scheme if you have been affected or injured by:

  • road traffic accidents involving military vehicles or personnel
  • medical negligence
  • accidents during training or operations
  • accidents on a military base
  • death in service/military inquests
  • assaults
  • slips, trips or falls
  • assaults
  • sporting accident or injury.

Our experts are on hand to guide you through the complex process of claiming compensation following an accident or injury caused by a negligent third party.

The impact of a military accident can have a fundamental effect on you and your family. Pursuing a military accident compensation claim can provide a lifeline to those affected by serious injury or trauma.

Our dedicated military accident solicitors can pursue a compensation claim on behalf of you and your family. The compensation awarded can be used to provide specialist medical care, treatment and support, help to replace lost income, cover the cost of special adaptations or meet any other special requirements unique to your case. We understand that compensation is only half the story, the other half is obtaining justice to help make sure that none of your colleagues suffer in the same way.

Working in collaboration with a number of national charities and medical specialists, our aim is to use our understanding of the armed forces and the personal injury claims process to recover the maximum amount of compensation available, leaving you to concentrate on your recovery.

Regardless of the wonderfully successful outcome, you have been so helpful to me. Your dedication and professionalism should be a shining example to all. You made me feel as though I was your only client and it’s important to feel valued – especially with everything that I’ve been through.

How To Make A Military Accident Compensation Claim

Whether you’re in the Army, Royal Navy or RAFwe understand how tough it can be to decide to pursue a compensation claim. Nonetheless, we are here to ensure the process is as stress and hassle free as possible, allowing you to get back on track.

There are strict time limits for starting a military accident compensation claim, which in most cases will be within three years of the date of the accident or date of knowledge of the negligence. This can, in exceptional circumstances, be extended, but it is always best to speak to our team of friendly military accident solicitors to get the best advice possible from the outset.

Our no win no fee funding agreement (also known as a conditional fee agreement) ensures you have access to justice with total of peace of mind as you make your way through the recovery process. If your case is unsuccessful you pay nothing towards your legal fees whatsoever.

If the case is successful, the opponent, typically an insurance company, will pay the vast majority of our fees and expenses. You will have the exclusive advantage as an MoD employee of a reduced success fee. All personnel (current and former), their friends, families and dependants will get the benefit of only having a 10% reduction on the compensation recovered, which is typically lower than the sector average of up to a 25% deduction.

In addition, we are able to take out legal expenses insurance for you to fully protect you in the event the case is unsuccessful; enabling you to pursue the case free in the knowledge that there isn’t any risk to you.

For a free consultation to review your claim with one of our specialist military accident solicitors, please call us on 0161 207 2020, request a callback or start your claim online using our dedicated form.
