Martin is Ralli Solicitors’ Managing Director. He has been with the firm for over 37 years, qualifying as a solicitor in 1981. Prior to becoming Managing Director, Martin was Head of the Personal Injury Department for the firm from 1999.

He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and Chair of the Access to Justice (A2J Ltd) organisation seeking to persuade the government to think again regarding the 2015 Autumn Statement proposals.

In November 2002 he became one of the first investor founders and shareholders of Injury Lawyers 4U, and for over 10 years he has achieved significant board level experience in the PCC reinsurance industry.

Martin co-authored a book published by Manchester University Press; entitled “Living with Head Injury” in the early 1990’s and has lectured on the Manchester Law Society Personal Injury Diploma Course, supported by Manchester Metropolitan University. Over the course of his career, he has also lectured to the Bar and other firms of solicitors on personal injury litigation.

He is also a regular speaker at professional seminars and national conferences on personal injury.

Martin has been a Trustee of BASIC for nearly ten years, and is committed to the work of the charity in helping rebuild lives following acquired brain injury.

Martin is passionate about providing access to justice for all, and regularly campaigns against the government’s justice reforms and legislative changes to safeguard the rights of injured victims.
