Philip joined Ralli Solicitors Legal Apprenticeship Scheme in October 2015. He works in the Personal Injury Team as an Apprentice Paralegal, gaining important experience whilst studying towards his CILEx qualification, in order to qualify as a solicitor. He is responsible for dealing with low value personal injury claims submitted to the MoJ Claims Portal System. Philip performs a variety of tasks to fulfil this role, such as taking initial instructions from clients, completing claim notification forms to be submitted to defendants or their insurers, arranging medical appointments and taking witness statements in support of a client’s claim.
Philip works closely with his colleagues to ensure he is providing clients with sound legal advice in a timely and efficient manner. He works tirelessly to reinforce his understanding of the litigation process by reviewing the information provided to him at his university sessions whenever he comes across real life examples in work.
Currently training in the following:
- accidents at work (employers’ liability)
- accidents in public places or areas (occupiers’ liability and public liability)
- road traffic accidents.
