Ralli Solicitor’s reputation as a leading personal injury law firm in the North West.
Who inspires you?
My late father will always be my inspiration to seek justice and redress for innocent victims of persecution and harm. My chosen profession involves assisting innocent injured victims of accidents or assaults which can often lead to considerable hardship- physically, psychologically and financially.
Key cases or achievements
Camden v Jackpot Leisure Ltd: A recent most satisfying success in July 2015 involved a difficult case where my client was attacked by dangerous dogs in a residential property during the course of his employment. He sustained severe injuries involving permanent nerve damage where he was bitten by the two dogs and serious psychological symptoms thereafter. The claim was brought against the homeowner who ignored the proceedings throughout but also against my client’s employer for failing to take any reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of their employee, by making at the very least an enquiry as to what animals were kept on the property and their temperament, and then failing to provide adequate training and instruction to my client as to how to deal with such animals. The judge agreed that the employer had failed to make reasonable enquiries and breach of duty was established.
I ran the case from 2010 and with assistance from Counsel Simon Brindle, secured a success in 2015 in what is believed to be the first case of this type involving residential premises. There were no guarantees of success but seeing how significant the impact of the incident had been on my client and his family’s life spurred me on. Fortunately the decision was favourable and my client received a substantial settlement.
