Since GDPR came into effect in May 2018, there is no charge to request your medical records!

You can now get a hold of your hospital records, optician records, dental records, GP records and more, without having to pay a single penny. Also, you can get copies of your radiology scans sent to you for free as well.

A subject access request (which is also known as SAR) must be completed and sent to the public body that holds your information and they will send you a copy within 1 calendar month. The records may be in a paper copy or on a disc, depending on the provider. This form can be found on all hospital’s, GP’s, dental practice’s website. If not, telephone them and they will help you request for a copy of your records.

If you feel like you have been a victim of medical negligence, feel FREE to obtain your medical records.

Once you have done this, we are more than happy to discuss your claim details with you and we are also happy to review your medical records for you in order to provide you with advice on whether, in our experienced opinion, you have good prospects at a claim or not.

Remember, you don’t have to get your medical records before contacting us to discuss your claim.
